Foundation for the History of Totalitarianism

Career opportunity

Research and media manager £30,000+ a year.

We are seeking someone who can do research and write articles well. We are also seeking someone who can edit videos intelligently and might also do some of our social media. Ideally we will find someone who can do both and who has other qualities, too, which will enable him or her to assume increasing amounts of responsibility. The work will be varied. It is important that the person is interested in the history of fascism and/or communist regimes. The key qualities needed are intelligence, interest in our work and adaptability.

Recent graduates can certainly apply as well as others.

We could offer more pay for a candidate with useful experience such as working in Parliament or for a think tank.

Your application will stand out if it is written simply and well. We do not need to know the details of any dissertations you may have written unless they were directly relevant to the job.

If you have any personal background relating to totalitarianism, please let us know about it.

If you do not live in or close to London, please explain how you will manage getting to Westminster every working day.

CVs which include phrases like “This demonstrates my ability to…” will not be looked on kindly.
